As of, June 29, the Guarantees Law will come into force, with which public contracting will be suspended for four months in accordance with the proximity of the territorial (municipalities and state/department) election season.

On October 29, the elections for governors, deputies, municipal and district councilors, mayors or members of local administrative boards, municipal and district mayors will take place, and during this period inter-administrative contracts cannot be entered into.
