The government is launching measures to include more elderly people in the digital society, launching a new action plan to prevent digital alienation and to ensure that everyone gets access to public services. Among the 32 measures is a trial scheme where users who need basic IT support will receive simple help with this. The scheme is called “IT fixers”, and will be implemented in selected municipalities. The government has also set the goal that all households and businesses must have an offer of fast broadband with 100 Mbit/s by the end of 2025.
