The government launched a road map for green industrial promotion in June 2022. The road map sets out a direction for a green industrial offensive. The aim is to create value and profitable jobs throughout the country, increase green investments, increase exports from the mainland and cut greenhouse gas emissions on the way to a low-emission society. The government is putting forward five measures that will contribute to creating more green industry in Norway:

• • • NOK one billion for innovation grants for major battery projects
    • Norway will join the EU’s hydrogen bank
    • Strengthening of the capital instruments in Green industrial promotion
    • Government loans for several green projects
    • Mapping risks and vulnerabilities in global supply line
