The transport budget for 2024 is historically high, and we must facilitate better transport throughout the country. Therefore, our main priorities are improving flight route offers, development of national roads, and urban growth and reward agreements. Increased accessibility and better safety are the basis of the government’s transport policy. In addition to operation and maintenance, this year we propose the start of three new national road projects and the continuation of previous work on the joint project Vossebana/E16 Arna–Stanghelle. The government is continuing its investment in attractive and climate-friendly cities.
