The Government will prioritize measures to increase punctuality in train traffic when they present the new National Transport Plan (NTP) before Easter. It contains a promise of money for maintenance and renewal of the railway – they also want the railway sector to work smarter than before. The various professional communities involved do not communicate enough and that they are notified too late when things are not as they should be, pointing to weaknesses in the current systems and routines. This will require better cooperation and coordination between agencies and businesses.
