The Norwegian workforce lacks more than 60,000 professionals, particularly in tge health, green transition and ICT sectors. In the absence of people, the country needs more machines – robots, automation and artificial intelligence. Digital technologies should be used to reduce the need for personnel.  There is a great need for expertise – especially within the subject areas of natural sciences, engineering and technical subjects and information and computer technology and electrical subjects.
