The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Japan has launched a webpage about public procurement in Japan on 12 May 2023. The webpage provides currently for:

• Suggestions for accessing the Japanese market of public procurement
• Information about the voluntary measures taken by the Japanese Government in the field of public procurement
• Information about the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organization (WTO) to which Japan is a member
•  Information on the bilateral agreements of Japan which include a chapter on public procurement

Additional information is expected to be added over time.
