On the 23rd of June 2023, the Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency in Yokohama (Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) launched a public tender for 1 Gerumanium semiconductor detector, to be provided by the 15th of March 2024. This tender concerns an open tendering procedure under the GPA-rules of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

An information meeting will be held on the 14th of July 2023. Companies can send their questions to the below tender contact by FAX, and the questions will be answered to everyone. Information on the tender, documents including the specifications for the equipment etc. can also be obtained from this contact. Proof of eligibility to participate in the tender needs to be submitted to the tender contact by the 31st of July 2023, 17:00 Japan time. The proposals will be gathered by the tender contact on the 21st of August 2023, 14:00 Japan time on the Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency premises. Mail-in proposals need to arrive at the Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency premises by the same day, 12:00 japan time. The results will be made public on the spot.
