On the 2^nd of June 2023, the Japan Atomic Energy Agency in Iwaki (Fukushima Prefecture, Japan) launched a public tender for a small and lightweight robot for nuclear disaster countermeasures, to be provided by the 29^th of February 2024. This tender concerns an open tendering procedure under the GPA-rules of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
