The national government announced the publication of the specifications for the public tender for the Magdalena River PPP, the Fifth Generation (5G) public-private project that seeks to improve the navigability of the most important river body in the country.

The public tender will be published on Nov. 30th and will end on March 22th, 2022.

This project will have an investment of $ 1.53 trillion COP, and seeks to regain its navigability along 668 km, between Bocas de Ceniza (Barranquilla) and Barrancabermeja (Santander).
