Medical software development services

The central prescription module (SFM) is an IT system that is part of Norway’s e-prescription value chain.

SFM is used by practitioners to share a patient’s prescription and medical requisition information with other practitioners, pharmacies, and bandage-makers that use the e-prescription value chain. SFM is gradually being implemented nationwide in Norway. The realisation of a patient medicine list (PLL) is helpful, a concept that makes it possible to share a patient’s prescription information between health and welfare personnel that treat the same patient but use another electronic patient

journal system (EPJ).

The new crypto management tool will be used for secure administration of cryptographic certificates, symmetrical and asymmetrical cryptographic keys, identification (user name and password) for system-to-system authorisation, and connection strings related to SFM through their respective life cycles.
