Queue system for visitors to the Norwegian Public Roads Administration

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration currently has queue systems in use from several different suppliers. These are procured locally at the location that has identified a need for a queue system, something that has led to many different systems being in use in the organisation. Several of the delivered queue systems are so old that the supplier can no longer provide support. A lack of central control also means that installations and connections do not always follow internal guidelines, and thereby are a potential security risk. The queue systems are to a varying degree compatible with the system ‘Timebestilling i skranke’ [Booking an appointment at the Counter], which is the system where visitors can order appointments for a counter service on the internet before attending. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration would like to procure a centrally managed cloud based (SaaS) queue system for the locations that require this, estimated to 35 locations.
