“The consulting services (“the Services”) are related to strengthening thecapacity at the “Torlak” Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera by constructing new diagnostic laboratory building, including BSL-3 laboratory. In this regard, environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) studies are required to assess potential risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures. Therefore, the Services include the preparation of a detailed ESIA, as per the provisions of the Bank ESF and Serbian legislation and Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) and preparation of the Request about the need for EIA Study (if required in Location Permit) in accordance with Serbian law on EIA.”
